Regular ocean salt has almost 85% sodium chloride, where as Dead Sea Salt only has 12-18% sodium chloride. This means that the rest of the Dead Sea salt has way more other nutrients and a whopping 21 minerals, include potassium, magnesium, zin, and sulfur. The bitterness from the high Magnesium does make it less suitable for consumption in cooking. It is, however perfect for Baths, Foot soaks and other Beauty treatments.

Recommended Usage
Bath Soaks: Stir 1 – 1.5 cups Dead Sea Salt into a nice hot bath, until it dissolves. Soak for 30 – 45 mins to help you re-mineralize, relax and sleep better.
Foot Soaks: Stir 2 – 3 tablespoons into a tub for an amazing foot soak. You can also pop a few drops of essential oils to give it an aromatherapy boost!
Exfoliation: Add Dead Sea Salt to a balm or oil and use as an exfoliant Note: Due to the bitterness of some of the natural minerals like magnesium, it is not recommended for cooking
