How to Use

While hydrogen peroxide offers amazing health benefits, as well as cleaning, and stain removal; care must be taken with undiluted drips and spills, on your skin and fabrics. Even our Diluted 3% Hydrogen peroxide is still quite strong and we recommend testing further dilutions with Distilled Water before usage.

Be aware that it should be stored in an Amber bottle and out of sunlight, to ensure the contents are not degraded.

Health Usage: It is excellent to clean teeth and heal gum condition’s. Simply put a tablespoon in a small dish and dip your toothbrush in it. Has the extra benefit of fully cleansing your tooth brush!

Use in its diluted form to gargle as a mouth wash.

Ingesting: When hydrogen peroxide is taken internally, it can increase oxygen levels in the body. Pathogens in the human body are primarily anaerobic, meaning that they cannot survive in oxygen rich environments. Many naturopaths recommend food grade hydrogen peroxide as a therapy for a number of ailments, including its benefit as a possible cancer therapy. However, dilution is always required, and it is not recommended to ingest undiluted quantities hydrogen peroxide. Be sure to consult with your health  professional prior to ingesting.

Sinus and Nasal Health: Dilute further as a Nasal flush, or add to a Nebuliser to assist with  Nasal congestion and bronchial infections

First Aid Usage: As an anti-bacterial germ killer, 3% Hydrogen Peroxide can be used as a topical antiseptic on cuts, abrasions, and skin conditions. It can sting on open wounds, and it will assist with the healing process.

Bath Soak: Look for our Ultra Pure 35% Hydrogen Peroxide product for your Detox Bath Soaks.

Produce Wash: Add 1/2 cup of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to a sink of water to wash your fruit and vegetables. Thoroughly rinse and dry afterwards. ThinkFeelThrive also recommends and uses Diatomaceous Earth as a Vegetable wash for our home grown produce.

Cleaning usage: When cleaning, wear gloves, and use as a natural replacement for chemical anti-bacterial wipes. Hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria and viruses by destroying their cell walls, then that hydrogen peroxide breaks down into simple oxygen and water, with no chemical residues left behind. 

Removes clothing stains: Soak white or off-white clothes in a bucket of water mixed with 1 cup of peroxide for 30 minutes. You can also add peroxide directly to the bleach compartment in your washing machine. Warning: Don’t try this on colored fabrics or vintage clothes!
